What can I say? I'm a book worm!

What can I say? I am a book worm! If you ask anyone in my family what my favorite thing to do is, they will most likely tell you that I love playing music and reading! The majority of my free time is spent reading.

When I'm older I think it would be nice to have a study with all the walls having built in shelves all around the room, and the shelves just filled with tons of books! The reason I love books is because its like escaping to a whole different world, you can learn about different places, and the characters seem real almost. I mainly like reading classics written during the nineteenth century, but I also love reading missionary stories!
But I'm getting off subject here; I've made a list of books all the books I want to read before summer ends! I would call it a "Summer Reading List" but I will gone for one month out of the summer, so I have to start now! Here is a list of all the books that I want to read:

North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
Persuasion by Jane Austen
Faith Like Potatoes by Angus Buchan
Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
Bleak House by Charles Dickens
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (I'm already in the middle of this one and its pretty good so far!)
Through Gates of Splendor by Elisabeth Elliott
Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp
Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell
I would also like to read a couple of Sherlock Holmes mysteries!
So I have a lot of books to start on and finish! As you can see I like to read Jane Austen books! I hope I can read them all, I'll try to do a write up of each book I have on the list when I finish, to let you know which books I liked and if they were good or not. If you have any suggestions of other books please leave a comment! I always like hearing new suggestions of books!

  2. That sounds like a good stack of books! I don't know if you've finished Jane Eyre yet, but I read the condensed version a while ago, and loved it! A book I think you'd like is "The Witch of Blackbird Pond" and "The Bronze Bow" (both by Elizabeth George Speare). Other books I've read (and really enjoyed) are:
    "Monday's Child"-Linda Chaikin
    "First Date"- Krista McGee
